And so it is on the beach - as a boss you dream of line ups like this! Strength in depth and that real desire within each of them to perform at the top of their game every week. Like the 'Idols' they know that they're only as good as their last week.

So we have the stars that shine brightly - on a similar scale, only a fraction dimmer (ho,ho) we have the middle rank of Roadrunner Mike, Marine Matt (I don't see no horns boy), Dragon's Den Olly and his Pop, and Big 'I'm a Mentalist.... environmentalist' Al.

With a team like this, we all look forward to coming to work. Did I say work?

Our instructors are passionate, dedicated and operate as a team. You'll notice it when you come to the surf school. The Surf's Up! service is legendary - from the moment you arrive to the time you wave goodbye, you won't forget you're time with us. We're proud of what we do and how we operate.

Big Sam - Beach Manager / Hardcore /

Known to us as the Black Prince he likes dark things and anything with a skull on it!! Rips hard and fast and doesn't mind the cold. Now in his 4th year with us - the very best right hand man you could want for.

Wail - Beach Manager / Lead Guitarist / Dad

Nickname relates to his lead guitar in the band Chigwah. Make you sure you see them when you come down. Guided us recently around Bali - this is his 4th year, his sense of fun reveberates around the beach. very popular local character.

Kelly - Boardrider Elite Manager / Technical / Deck chair attendant!!

Our elite coach from NZ - specifically brought in to tarin our high end local groms. Although if you're lucky he also does one or two for the general public. Always found on the cliff top with a chair and video camera - supports the Elite team in training and at events. Will this summer support Toby and Harry at the Worlds and Pro Juniors in Europe.

Al - Mentalist (Enviro)

Now in his 4th year - normally to be found running our residential Beach House courses. Travelled loads, particularly through South America. Solid. Dependable - plays for the team, loves the beach lifestyle.

Mikey - Dad / Runner

Mikey's kids are members of our Boardriders club and so we've know him for a while. Recent addition to the team but has come in running - which is appropriate as he owns the Running Store in Wadebridge with his missus. Always laughing - good team player. Bakes cakes. Three little ones to feed.

Big Matt - ex-Marine

If you want someone to come in and just get things sorted this is your man. Very hard worker, great team player. Part of the Delabole Massif. Back for a second year.

Olly - King of the Pop

Recently starred in the Dragon's Den with the Ollypop surf towel. Creative - a man with great flair. Popular with Hens. Married with a cute girl called Georgie, Delabole Massif

Big Si - Ex Para / Delabole Massif

Really great to get Si back. Very popular last year with both the team and our clients. Another one of our military men who make a huge difference when it comes to 'jobs'. Married with two kids.

Little Sam - legend

We all love little Sam - as the only female instructor in the team (come on ladies), she's been with us girl and lady. Particularly good with kid groups but equally adept with more mature fellows. She always impresses me how she takes control of her students - assertive but nice with it.
