New Zealand is shaped in such a way that it doesn’t take long to drive from one coast to the other, so no matter where you are there’s always a good wave close by! We’ve selected eight different beaches as our primary resource, each offering unique and special qualities, but there’s plenty of others to visit on our travels. We’ll be taking on the most remote places by motorhome, living right on the beach. At Surfs Up! we recognise the importance of values and giving opportunity where it may be needed - those who choose to fully embrace the culture have the option to work with a local school for a couple of days. New Zealand is rich in history and culture and this trip gives you the opportunity to experience it first hand. The coaching team is led by Surf’s Up! instructor Dawsey - a native of the North Island who’s spent his life surfing the very breaks that you’ll be riding. New Zealand National Youth Coach Kelly O’Toole, the Surf’s Up! Technical Director who teaches the British junior team, will also be joining the adventure in Coromandel - it doesn’t get any better than that! |
