Surf’s Up! NZ is an adventure set up by surfers for surfers. The team here are passionate about what we do and have the knowledge and experience to improve your skills. Surf’s Up! are recognised not only as the leading surf school in the UK for beginners, improvers and advanced surfers, but more recently as the authority on elite surf coaching for members of the Junior British team. Whether you are a complete beginner or confident surfer, our expert coaches can asses your ability and explain to you how to improve your performance and technique. As the same coaches will be travelling with the group throughout the NZ trip we can monitor everyone’s surfing progression at the closest level. We also have limited numbers on the course, so there is plenty of one on one coaching and no crowded classes. The majority of your surfing will be documented on video. With video analysis classes two times per week, along with our unique training programme designed with the help of top international coach Kelly O’Toole, we believe we can put over two and a half years on your surfing in 10 weeks. The coaching team is led by Surf’s Up! instructor Dawsey – a native of the North Island who has spent his life surfing the very breaks that you’ll be riding. New Zealand National Level Youth Coach Kelly O’Toole, instructor and trainer of the British Junior Squad, will Pete and Jane Craske founders of Surf’s Up! and two of the most respected and experienced operators in the UK surfing industry have personally overseen the development of Surf’s Up! New Zealand, ensuring the attention to detail and the highest standards that clients have enjoyed for the past 14 years.
