Board Riders Club
As the leading surf school in the UK, our commitment to the local community has become legendary. Our Surf’s Up! Boardriders club for local kids aged 6 –17 years old has 240 active members who enjoy after school surf sessions at least once a week.
Forty-two of these are on an elite competition training programme - unprecedented in this country. We are seen as the ones driving forward the standard of British surfing.
Here’s what the Boardriders Committee have put together for you
- A clubhouse on Polzeath beach for board storage
- free use of boards and wetsuits
- a membership discount card to use in surf shops, beach cafes etc
- BBQ's and parties at the Homer Park Surf Lodge
- private cinema sessions
- free use of the skate ramp and gym at the surf lodge
- summer camp
- subsidised overseas trips
- Boardriders website with chat room
Winter programme
- skating at Mount Hawk
- surf confidence sessions at Roserrow swimming pool
- surf fitness sessions at the surf lodge
- weekend surf surfaris throughout Cornwall
Surf’s Up! Boardriders founder Pete Craske is recognised as one of the greatest innovators and motivators in surf coaching of this generation.
